Installing Tab-Tamer
Get the Tab-Tamer extension
- Download https://nurbid.com/wp-content/uploads/files/nurbid-tab-tamer.zip and unzip the downloaded file.
Open Chrome and open the Extensions page
- Type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar and press Enter.
Load the Tab-Tamer extension
- In the top-right corner, toggle “Developer mode” ON.
- Click “Load unpacked”
- Locate & select the unzipped “nurbid-tab-tamer” folder
Verify it’s loaded
- The extension should now appear in the list, with its icon visible in the toolbar if enabled.
Note
- After loading the extension, it will be in “free” license mode
- Clicking the extension’s icon in Chrome, will open Tab-Tamer (free) in the Chrome Side-panel
- If you have already purchased a full “pro” license, click the blue “Upgrade” button (in the upper right-hand corner of the Side-panel), click the “Already have a license?” button, and enter the license which was provided to you via email.
- In “pro” license mode, you can click the “Open Home Tab” icon (in the upper right-hand corner of the Side-panel), to open a new pinned tab with the full pro UI!
